Blueprint Family Support Services
Position Summary: The Blueprint Family Support Specialist will engage directly with youth participating in the Blueprint for Change Juvenile 2nd Chance Program, focusing on mentoring, providing case management, and fostering positive life changes. This role is critical in reducing recidivism and promoting community safety through personalized intervention strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial assessments and regular follow-ups with program participants to identify needs and set goals.
- Develop and implement individualized service plans in collaboration with program partners and stakeholders.
- Provide ongoing mentorship and support to youth, emphasizing skill development, educational success, and positive behavior changes.
- Coordinate with local agencies and community organizations to access necessary resources for participants.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions aimed at promoting substance-free living, conflict resolution, and personal development.
- Monitor and report on participant progress, adjusting strategies as necessary to maximize effectiveness.
Experience & Education:
- One to three years of work experience or equivalent education in Family Services, Youth Development, Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in directly supporting families, with expertise in crisis intervention and understanding family dynamics.
- Deep knowledge of local community resources, case management principles, behavioral health interventions, and the juvenile justice system.
- An understanding of the challenges faced by young people and their families, and a commitment to applying best practices in family support.
- Exceptional documentation and communication skills, capable of effectively advocating for the organization and its clients in various forums.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of fostering strong relationships with youth, families, and community partners, especially in sensitive situations.
- Demonstrated professionalism when dealing with confidential information and commitment to the mission and values of NOCP, with a passion for making a significant positive impact in the lives of young people.
- Must have at least a high school diploma (or equivalent) and be at least 21 years of age.

Compensation: $44,000
Working Conditions:
- Office-based role with primary working hours during 8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday to Friday. Some evening and weekends will be required.
- Routine physical demands include lifting up to 25 pounds, operating office equipment, sitting, standing, walking, and typing.

Community Youth Coach
Position Summary: The Community Youth Coach plays a pivotal role in NOCP’s Summer Youth Job Training programs. This individual is responsible for mentoring at-risk youth, guiding them through community service and field trips, leadership development (goal setting and conflict resolution), and a robust job training curriculum. The role requires a dynamic, compassionate individual dedicated to empowering youth through structured activities in small groups and lead classes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute daily activities for the Summer Youth Program, ensuring all events align with the goals of fostering community, developing leadership skills, and job readiness among participants.
- Mentor youth participants, providing consistent support and guidance to enhance their personal and professional development.
- Collaborate with local partners such as the Empowerment Network and the Urban League of Nebraska’s Step Up Program to secure resources and create more opportunities for youth engagement and employment.
- Monitor growth and program success indicators, such as improvements in public speaking, networking, and engagement, and the quality of mentor-mentee relationships.
- Engage families and community members as necessary in program activities to broaden the impact and support base for youth participants.
Experience & Education:
- One to three years of work experience or equivalent education in Youth Development, Education, Social Work, or a related field.
Qualifications:
- Strong preference for experience working with at-risk youth in a mentorship, coaching, or educational capacity, ideally within a community-based setting.

Day & Evening Youth Program Coordinator
Position Summary: Youth Program Coordinator(s) at North Omaha Community Partnership (NOCP) is responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the Day and Evening Reporting Youth Program. This role is crucial for providing structured, recreational, and educational activities aimed at youth involved or at risk of involvement in the juvenile justice system. The coordinator will act as a mentor, role model, and leader, fostering personal growth and positive decision-making among participants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute a variety of age-appropriate activities such as sports, arts, STEM projects, and life skills workshops. Tailor programs to meet the diverse needs of participants and organize special events and field trips.
- Actively supervise all program activities, ensuring a safe and engaging environment. Establish trusting mentorship relationships with youth, address behavioral challenges effectively, and promote a culture of respect and inclusion.
- Manage attendance records, prepare activity materials, and communicate program updates to parents and guardians. Oversee participant recruitment and registration efforts.
- Collaborate with NOCP staff to enhance program delivery and participate in professional development opportunities to improve youth services.
Experience & Education:
- One to three years of work experience or equivalent education in Family Services, Youth Development, Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field.
Qualifications:
- Experience leading group activities and knowledge of trauma-informed care principles.
- Proficiency in managing challenging behaviors and implementing positive discipline strategies.
- Demonstrable experience working with at-risk youth in structured program settings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and engage young people. Knowledge of conflict resolution and de-escalation techniques.
